Descrizione
The Ortega Americana Series RRG30E-WB resonator guitar features the classic style and sound of an aluminium cone coupled with a mahogany body and the accurate amplified tone of a fitted lipstick-style pickup. Plug in and shape the sound via the tone and volume pots fitted just below the cone and enjoy that classic metallic resonator sound backed up by the strong projection and rich overtones provided by the build. To complete the vintage vibe, this model comes coated in a Distressed Whiskey Burst and sealed in satin-gloss, fully prepping it to take on anything - especially blues, bluegrass and folk.

Bijna 5 sterren. De gitaar klinkt goed. Afwerking qua binding en lak is uitstekend. De snaarinkepingen in het brugzadel waren nogal ongelijk en moest ik eerst aanpassen. Ook de dekplaat van de resonator zat niet volledig vastgeschroefd.
Na aanpassing was de gitaar goed bespeelbaar en de klank van de resonator is prachtig.
Electrisch viel het lipstick element wat tegen, het heeft erg weinig output.
Tot slot zijn de stemmers wat nukkig maar dat is met dit type nu eenmaal zo.
Voor de prijs heb je een fijne resonator gitaar met een mooi geluid.
